£2,500-3,000 per month, depending on experience and hours committed

Remote / Falmouth-based if preferred

Data Duopoly is a Cornwall based start-up, with a mission to revolutionise the visitor experience in any venue worldwide. We are a dynamic and driven team, backed by strong partnerships and investors, looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual with big ambitions to join us on our journey.

Our XplorIT product range helps visitors enjoy their day out by providing personalised and gamified experiences to explore, whilst gathering valuable location data for the venue. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are now offering features to help venues recover post lockdown, and we are in an exciting stage of growth. We have worked with some industry leaders to implement our solution, including the Eden Project, Falmouth University and the National Trust Cornish Tin Coast Partnership and we are looking to onboard many more.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Software Developer to join our team, to advance the capability and growth of the XplorIT product range, revolutionising the way that venues and events engage with their visitors.

You will work with our development team and undertake Xamarin app development to meet project needs. You can expect to work throughout the development stack, from Xamarin, to high-performance servers hosted on AWS, engaging with high-profile clients from a wide range of exciting events, venues and universities.

You’ll need a proven track record in developing scalable technical stack, preferably Xamarin. It would be an additional benefit to have worked with OOP, AWS and TDD, with an agile approach. You should have a willingness to learn, be able to work under your own initiative and within a team, and relish the opportunity to solve problems and produce excellent outcomes for our clients.

The Perks

  • Opportunities to learn and grow within an exciting startup.

  • Strong culture around recognition of achievements, with the opportunity to join the team full-time if desired.

  • Flexible working options, including homeworking.

  • Work within a dynamic startup with a great company culture
